This hotel offers lovely and perfect breakfasts with great coffee and pancakes. the location is stunning and unique, next to eateries, parks, restaurants, bars in Honeysuckle Newcastle. - the staff are approachable and provide fine service.

We had a fantastic stay - AND i must say finding a proper hairdryer in the room was a big plus!!

The hotel had a very central position close to Nobbys & Newcastle, near many restaurants on the wharf and a taxi. The breakfast was substantial and particularly good, we were provided with making pancakes and free bottled water.

Thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable and pleasant accommodation. Exceptional staff at the reception desk. - the location was awesome, within easy walking distance of Darby Street Precinct. - the pool was incredible. - Had mixed drinks in the lounge bar. - Close parking to the hotel.

Rydges Newcastle is a gorgeous and fairly clean place to stay with accommodating and exceptionally kind staff at the reception desk. The hotel is in a very central location on the harbor in Newcastle.

Staff very friendly and most helpful.

Had to call the staff twice to fix the TV and to fix the bath. This was disappointing given the cost of the rooms.

The hotel is excellent. Very upmarket and spotlessly clean. The staff were all extremely professional, courteous and nothing was too much trouble to ensure our stay was comfortable and pleasant.

That the wi-fi services incur a cost. Considering that most places we have stayed in the past include this as part of the room rate, I would expect that wi- fi services are free, or at the very least, partly free up tp a certain percentage of data used.

Well presented hotel with an amazingly helpful team at the reception desk. Separate lounge and lounge area in the room, along with a comfortable bed. Perfect, awesome breakfasts with real espresso coffee and beverages in paper takeaway cups. Peaceful central location, very close to shopping areas and Nelson Bay.

The gym and breaKFAST

Gave me the wrong room with single beds instead of queen bed, no ocean view and balcony that I paid for, not allowed to see where they parked your car. Wrong newspaper in the morning. Some staff were not intersted in what I had to say , they kept saying it was a full house.

The accommodation is located directly on the waterfront and close to numerous restaurants and cafés

The rooms were a little out of date

Nicely appointed hotel with a delightful view of the harbor. Top-class staff at the reception desk. Light-filled and decent-sized room. Private parking close to the property. Good wifi is provided. Magnificent setting in a very relaxing area. Adjacent to bars, restaurants, and cafes. Harbour Bar nearby is a great place to chill out. The lounge bar offers reasonably priced drinks.

The location was so lovely and close to all that the Honeysuckle area has to offer. The room was very nice, as it was on the ground floor we had a virtual court yard (one we could see but couldn't go into) and it made our room feel like a relaxation spa.

I mentioned to the hotel manager that these days hotels should include skinny milk in the mini bar. And also that my breakfast on the day was unejoyable nearly inedible. I should have gone with the fresh made omelets rather than the temptation of eggs benedict.
